Skills

We are beginning to share a small sample of the skills we use. We will add more over time. Each is a self-contained skill file you can download and load into Claude to reproduce part of how we work.

Teach Me a Case

A teaching skill that walks an expert appellate lawyer through the background of an unfamiliar case or matter. It orients first — what kind of case, who won, why it matters — then builds up the players and posture, the real-world problem underneath the legal dispute, the question presented, and the reasoning, one bite-sized step at a time. It works from the actual opinion or statute text rather than memory, defines every technical term in plain English on first use, and avoids rhetorical questions and condescension. Useful whenever you need to get up to speed quickly on a case in an unfamiliar substantive or technical field.
