Data Security
Clients trust Showalter PLLC with confidential information, and the firm chooses systems that protect it.
AI and client data. The firm uses enterprise AI platforms that do not train models on client inputs, and it does not run client-confidential work through consumer chatbots. For work that requires the strongest protection, the firm uses a platform with zero data retention: the AI providers keep no record of the content after they respond.
Email and documents. Firm email runs on Google Workspace, with sender authentication that lets receiving mail servers confirm that a message came from the firm. Matter files are kept in Clio.
Client Security Terms. The firm’s Client Security Terms set the approved systems, the handling rules, zero data retention, device requirements, and the process for approving any new tool.
Security reviews. The firm completes client security questionnaires and follows outside counsel guidelines. To request our responses or to apply the Client Security Terms, email michael@showalterpllc.com.
