File Ready

A final pre-filing gate that audits a court document against the rules that actually govern it, then proofreads it sentence by sentence.

File Ready runs the audit a filing needs on the day it goes out: structure and components, format and type-volume, the e-filing package and the PDF, redaction, service, the deadline and its triggering event, admission and signature, and the local rules of the specific court.

It pulls the current text of every rule it relies on rather than stating one from memory, and anything it cannot verify is reported as unverified and treated as a blocker. It then reads the document sentence by sentence and runs a name and citation consistency check and a named-entity audit. Nothing is “ready to file” until every domain passes, including the proofread.

Best for

  • The last pass before a brief, motion, or petition goes out
  • A filing in a court whose local rules you do not know cold
  • Catching the consistency and entity errors a careful read misses
